Chuck Woolery on Term Limits
Time to "Chuck" out career politicians. Great American and SACSTW favorite Chuck Woolery weighs in on congressional term limits:
As always Chuck is spot on! Reminds me of one of my favorite movie lines...."is you, or is you ain't, my constituency?". Trivia challenge- name the movie!
It doesn't matter how many terms a Congressman may serve. Some may do damage is one term, one year, one month, even one day on the floor of the Senate or House of Representatives. So long as constituents vote according to political party or ideology rather than their own best interests, we will have bad representation in Congress. And, if we get someone good, why should we be forced to get rid of them just when they've learned the way from their office to the House or Senate Chambers?
